mission

Ed develops sophisticated and customized spatial solutions, taking into account all the factors that determine the space. After an initial consultation, the client's individual vision is developed and visualized as a goal with meticulous attention to detail. Ed places particular emphasis on incorporating the architectural potential of the space into the design, creating a harmonious interplay between the space and its furnishings. Photorealistic rendering ensures clear communication of the space's use. Ed visualizes the atmospheric concept of the space with the help of elaborate 3D designs. The design is realized with the help of a select network of specialists. With 18 years of professional experience, Ed specializes in the following projects:

●House ●Apartment ●Villa ●Family house ●Office ●Restaurant, cafe, bars

The projects are developed holistically from the first sketch to the final execution detail and accompanied through all construction phases.

From the first line to the smallest detail

Our mission is to create spaces that work as a whole and stand up to scrutiny in every detail. We begin by listening carefully — often with a quick line on paper. Sketching is our tool for thinking. It keeps possibilities open, makes ideas visible and leads step by step from an initial impression to a clear spatial concept.

01 · The big idea

Before choosing materials and furniture, we consider the space as a whole. How do people move through it? Where is there room for quiet, and where for meeting? Which proportions give it character? A few lines help us explore volumes, sightlines and transitions. A rough drawing can search, discard and begin again. That openness creates room for solutions beyond the obvious.

02 · Atmosphere takes shape

Atmosphere develops from the spatial idea. Materials, colour, light and furnishings now come together. Timber can bring warmth, a calm wall can guide the eye, and a carefully placed light can highlight a particular area. Interior perspectives explore these relationships. Sketches make alternatives understandable and help us consider proportion, use and mood together.

03 · Quality is in the detail

A convincing design goes beyond an attractive perspective. It also shows in an edge, a joint or a fixing. We continually change scale: from the room to the furniture, and from the furniture to its junctions. Detail drawings clarify how materials meet and how a design idea can develop into a construction solution. Dimensions, finishes and connections are coordinated with the specialist planners and contractors involved.

A look inside the sketchbook

Drawing sharpens observation. Our sketchbook brings together spatial impressions, exploratory design ideas and studies of existing architecture. It combines the quick capture of an atmosphere with curiosity about proportion and construction. Not every drawing is already a project — many are a beginning, a question or an idea that grows later.

The sheets also include drawn studies of existing architecture, including the Ribbon Chapel by Hiroshi Nakamura & NAP and the Le Monde headquarters by Snøhetta.

From the whole to the detail — and back again

We aim for a continuous design process: listening, sketching, testing, visualising and refining. Each small decision should strengthen the overall idea. An initial thought becomes a space whose function, atmosphere and materials belong together.
