Today we're showing you a very special home office. We designed it for a managing director in Berlin who wanted to convert 30 square meters of his period apartment into a home office. They wanted a classic ambiance that still feels contemporary, exuding pure elegance yet coziness. Join us for a short tour of this impressive project.
Dark colors, marble, leather, and gold accents were also used here. Typical period details complement the classic, elegant charm and underscore the cozy, sophisticated atmosphere.
Marble in focus

The focal point of the room is the elegant marble desk, which draws all eyes. A matching small coffee table, made of the same material but in a darker shade, was added. While the rug picks up the color of the desk, the darker color is also found on the walls and shelves. Add a few gold and green accents and the color scheme is complete, exuding pure glamour yet a relaxed sense of calm. Perfect for a fitting, cozy, and classic home office.
Pure glamour

The high walls of the period apartment are perfect for large bookshelves reaching to the ceiling. High-quality materials, sophisticated colors, and luxurious details exude a touch of Art Deco, as does the combination of functional, contemporary elements and glamorous aesthetics. The opulent chandelier on the ceiling becomes a stylish eye-catcher, while modern recessed spotlights illuminate the room so that you can work comfortably even late at night.
Old building flair de luxe

Floor-to-ceiling windows, stucco elements, herringbone parquet flooring, gold-framed pictures on the walls – here, Berlin's old-world charm meets exclusive elegance – an ambience in which both customers and employees can feel completely at home.
Representative and stylish

The double-leaf arched door is also impressive and perfectly complements the rest of the furnishings. The room's materials are dominated by heavy, elegant materials such as dark wood, marble , leather, and brass.
Bird's eye view

Finally, there's a completely different perspective. The view from above shows the symmetrical layout of the almost square room with its carpet, desk, visitor chairs, shelves, and carefully selected decor. A home office couldn't look more stylish and representative, could it?
